My name is Christian (Beth) Cyrus. I am currently a full-time elementary music teacher in Metro Nashville Public Schools. There, I teach a standards-based music curriculum to 600 students and manage five yearly grade-level music programs, as well as serving as music director on our Disney productions, and after-school choir. In addition, I teach private piano lessons, and have enjoyed singing in the Nashville Symphony Chorus.
I graduated from Welch College (Nashville, TN) in 2013, with a Bachelor’s of Music Education degree, and have Level I Orff Pedagogy certification. I am currently a graduate student at the University of Kentucky in Arts Administration, in hopes of pursuing a career in the field of non-profit/ community arts education.
